Sign writing Scarborough Bookshop – Mrs. Lofthouse’s Emporium. Working on site in Winter has it’s challenges but the weather held long enough to get this one done.
New larger premises for this bookshop originally opened in the shop next door in 1981. Great to see independent shops like this thriving. I recreated and tweaked the original design using the burnt orange from the shop fit for the shading and scrollwork.
